Street Dreams’ humble beginnings originated in a small one-bedroom apartment in West Covina, CA. Creator and founder, Ernest Edwards, envisioned a streetwear clothing line that would serve as his creative outlet; one that would connect him with the streets that raised him and the attitude it took for survival. At the tender age of 21, Ernest had nothing but small savings and a clear vision to create what would later become Street Dreams. Fueled with unparalleled determination he set out to follow his dream and never looked back.

In 2008, the first Street Dreams store opened at the Hacienda Mart, a local indoor swap meet in the city of La Puente. After six months of amassing popularity and showing promising success, Street Dreams was relocated to the Puente Hills Mall.

In 2009, Street Dreams opened its second location in the Westfield West Covina Mall. With its expanding popularity it did not take long for the brand to take its place as a cultural, creative and iconic streetwear staple in the San Gabriel Valley (SGV). The demand produced new customers and loyal fans in other cities around the SGV, so when the streets spoke Ernest listened. In 2012, the third flagship location opened its doors at the Shops at Montebello Mall.

In its initial five years Street Dreams apparel and accessories were sold exclusively in Street Dreams stores. However, newer and innovative platforms allowed the brand to quickly reach customers and retailers at national and international levels. In 2013, this newer demand would revolutionize the company, allowing Street Dreams to do business with hundreds of customers and retail stores worldwide.

Today, Street Dreams has 3 flagship stores and has its sights set on opening more locations in the coming year. With a team that is dedicated to providing the streets with a brand that reflects one’s creative individuality, its no wonder Street Dreams continues to thrive.
